This week students are working on their first creative projects. They are dealing w/ scale in 2D and are making some fabulous collages. I can't wait to see what they come up with!

Here are some inspiring works from contemporary and modern art that deal with scale:

Sophie in the restaraunt Le Germaine from French artist Xavier Veilhan.

Work on paper from installation at UCLA/Armand Hammer Museum, Los Angeles by Margaret Kilgallen

Das schöne Mädchen (The Beautiful Girl, 1919-1920) by Hannah Höch.

Pretty Girl Series, 1977 by Linder.

Dropped Cone, 2001, Shopping centre in Cologne, Germany by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen.
